     April 10, Genova

Morning started with the usual Tetrus van packing...

and it's a bit of a drive...

but way worth it when we arrive in Genoa.

You gotta love this city...

and I haven't even had any pesto yet! (it's from here, and prepared quite unlike elsewhere. Must be tried when visiting Genoa.)

The show will be a special one, David Rhodes, my buddy from the Peter Gabriel Band, sharing the bill.

And, wandering around town before soundcheck, who should I see pulling their van over...

David and his band!

That's bassist Charlie Jones, and drummer Ged Lynch, (who with David and me, made the formidible bald trio within Peter's band.)
(and, yes, they were lost ... well not lost, but ... as we'd found earlier, you just can't drive from A to B in this part of Genoa ... you kind of need to find some area to park in, and then walk.)

I'm sure we'll have good fun tonight.

The venue is a concert hall - a big one...

with very high ceiling...

David and Ged setting up...

We took a stroll before the show...

The venue, from across the water

Two drummers warming up...

And then, time for David and his band to go on

Then it's our turn...

Nice show... and with a curfew we had to rush to pack up the stage.

and...

go out for a bite to eat!

Surprise... no pesto on the menu!

Next up for us, long drive to Zurich, night off there, and show the next night.

April 14, Zurich

We played at a nice little club, we hadn't played before, called Exil

I gave my camera to Markus's wife, Renee, to take some shots of the band while we played, so thanks to her for these.

and one photo I took of the audience at the end...

Nice show.

Next for us, two days to drive to Bratislava for our show there.
