     March 15, Mendoza

The main thing we experienced on the trip to Mendoza was a great audience... so, after onse shot of us ready to go onstage, I'll show mostly pictures of that!

     March 16, Montevideo, Uruguay

Up early, van to airport, fly to Buenos Aires, van to ferry, just in time to catch the two hour crossing into Uruguay, then public bus, (part of the ferry ticket) another couple hours to Montevideo.
Here we are, somewhat arrived, but waiting for a ride from the bus station. A real road day!

I rarely remember to photograph the amps provided each show ... I ask for an Ampeg bass amp, but get an assortment of guitar amps for the top side of the Stick. Makes things interesting, with an assortment of guitar amps on each tour

(great empanadas here.)

And great audience... helps us forget the strain of travelling to get here!

     March 17, Puerto Alegre, Brazil

A travel day ... back on planes to fly to Puerto Alegre.

and we have the night off before our show here.

It's a nice theater

This will be the first Stick Men show in Brazil, so we don't know how much of an audience we'll have ...

but it's nice being in a good venue. And... they have tour passes for us - that's a nice touch!

The audience was very good - alas, my camera had an off night!

The only time I get to take photos during the show, aside from coming on and off, is during Slow Glide... so they always catch the other guys in somewhat the same action

     March 19, Sao Paulo, Brazil

A short flight to Sao Paulo, the huge city where we'll have the last two shows of our S. America tour.

Another nice theater...

From the second night:

And, with early show, we get to have a little band dinner, with Max, our tour manager

March 21, Sao Paulo

This last day here, with our flights out later in the day, we took the morning to shoot some band photos on the colorful streets of Sao Paulo.

Robert Frazza, our engineer, took the shots.

So, sadly we say goodbye to South America, and finish our tour here for this year.

We'll hope to be back next year, and to go back to some of the countries we've played before but couldn't do this time.

A big thanks to Gustavo Andres, the promoter who put it all together. And to Max Mazella, our tour manager (yes, he crept into some of the band photos!)
And to Robert Frazza, our sound engineer, sometimes tour manager, show recording engineer, and now tour photographer too!

(note: we have put a collection of live pieces from the Buenos Aires show on bandcamp, where they can be listened to or downloaded.)
