March 10 - Travelling back from Uruguay:

Got up early to catch a bus from Montevideo. A few hours drive on the bus took us to the ferry, just across the river from Buenos Aires - we're getting to travel in every way but horsecart today!

And two shows tonight!
After the ferry trip, we head for the theater...
Venue has a nice poster outside, but slightly overemphasizing, I'd say, my role in the group!

Soundcheck reveals it to be a very nice theater - we'll be playing three shows here, two tonight, and one more on Friday. Back to the same hotel we had before in Buenos Aires - this time I have a better view of the huge avenue out front.

Ready for two shows guys?

Of course we were ready And the shows were a lot of fun. Funny how different they were, though mostly the same material.
We have a lot of room in this band for varying things - not to mention the many improvs in the set, for each of us individually and for the whole band.

As in the previous show, we had Michael go out 10 minutes before the show and set up some loops, which we would join in with later when we all hit the stage.

The best part, as always, is the audience.

Pat's solo segment:

Here are some similar photos, from the second show:

These shows in Buenos Aires were the basis of our whole LatinAmerica tour - after they were booked, the promoters were able to expand on them. So it's a memorable segment of the tour, and as always, a warm feeling to come back here to King Crimson's second home.
