Blue Nights (double CD)

When touring for the BLUE album, the group had such fun on the road, we couldn't resist recording the shows. Then I studied all the tapes - too much great stuff to fit on a single CD - chose the best versions and some wild unique events, and fashioned it into a double CD which encompasses the best of the shows. There are pieces that turned into jams, jams that turned into new pieces, songs from BLUE that matured out on the road, improvs, (started each live show with a lengthy Bruford solo) and even a few words of humor from Bill. There is our version of a piece from David Torn's classic "Cloud About Mercury" CD, and an added track: remixed by SpatterCell, using elements from the live shows, rounds out this very special offering. Package is jewel box, ending the era of PapaBear's cardboard packages. (They were unique and special, but we found them impossible to re-print once the first batch was sold.)
